B. Sounders Foos Cup: In 2014 PEMCO continued a successful partnership with Seattle’s MLS team, the Sounders FC. This was done to develop an integrated program to connect and engage with fans in a unique way. Ultimately, PEMCO wanted to provide fans with a positive experience to stay top of mind and increase their likelihood of considering PEMCO when shopping for auto or home insurance. PEMCO’s partnership with the Seattle Sounders offered a season-long opportunity to connect with passionate soccer fans before every home game and provide them the opportunity to play a little soccer, before they went to watch soccer. The entrant introduced the Foos Cup presented by PEMCO, and created customized foosball tables which featured hand painted Sounders players and prominent PEMCO and Sounders branding. Each high score winner received a complimentary t-shirt, and the top high scoring players were tracked throughout the season. The highest scoring team claimed the champion title, won two tickets to the last match of the season, and received a Foos Cup trophy before their VIP on the pitch pre-match experience. The Foos Cup was promoted with POP displays in all Sounders retail stores, big posters in each Sounders suite, print ads in the gameday magazine and on the video board during each game.
