E. Puget Sound Energy’s “Golden Upgrade” Tickets Tackle Seattle Seahawk Fans: At any given Seahawks game, dozens of brands clamor for fans’ attention. To rise above the noise, Puget Sound Energy chose a unique approach to reach fans where no other game-day sponsor competes: on buses, trains and ferries going to the game. On a Seahawks Sunday, 100 PSE street teamers at 28 transit stops surprised the 40,000+ fans taking public transportation to the game with Willy Wonky-inspired “Golden Upgrade” tickets to be redeemed for exciting prizes at game-day booths. This out-of-the-box, metrics-driven tactic engaged 10,000 PSE customers face-to-face and educated them about energy efficiency on game-day.
