B. The Equation Wall: When most people think of a AAA office, they envision something along the lines of the DMV, but with nice people. To shatter this perception, AAA Washington, in partnership with 5ive Creative, developed a new retail concept by launching the first Cruise & Travel Presented by AAA in Tacoma. The reimagined store features unique merchandise, large video screens and engaging staff to create a lively travel-themed experience that attracts customers, invites them to linger, and allows them to experience the AAA brand in a new and compelling way. During the first year, foot traffic increased (more than 41,000 visits) and sales grew by double digits. The new Tacoma store has been so successful that AAA has opened two additional Cruise & Travel stores in Spokane and Lynnwood.
