AAA Washington 8pg Travel Branding Campaign: The marketing objective of this 8-page Travel Branding Ad was twofold: 1) Increasing awareness for AAA Travel by taking a well-known Emergency Roadside Service word and redefining it in terms of our travel services. The playful, double entendre headline (STRANDED) is paid off with an expansive image of a woman “stranded” in a hammock on a tropical beach and the subhead: Emergency Beachside Service. The branding copy explains that “Rescuing stranded vehicles isn’t the only way AAA provides peace of mind,” and goes on to describe all the benefits of using AAA Travel. 2) Creating an engaging, multi-page travel ad that ties into AAA Journey magazine’s special January/February Travel Edition by showing members a world of exciting travel opportunities with AAA. The multi-page travel ad is designed to complement the travel branding spread by using expansive travel images and one impactful travel-related word as the main headline on each spread (ADVENTURE, PARADISE, WANDERLUST).
