J. Interactive Gratitude : Twice a year, the Seattle-based design entrant designs and mails a one-of-a-kind communication piece to connect with clients, collaborators and friends of the firm.
Mid November, they released a handcrafted interactive piece entitled. In lieu of traditional holiday cards, they chose an all-encompassing message of gratitude, “Thank You.”
The project consisted of twelve interlocking cards composed of rich, warm colors and a clean, simple typeface clearly displaying a message of appreciation. The opposite side featured project photos, sketches and images of the entrant’s downtown Seattle neighborhood.
All twelve cards were designed with slots to encourage creative assembly in many shapes and forms. Those looking for inspiration could refer to the basic instructions included in the box or view creations other recipients shared via our social media prompt.
The 2015 Thank You piece was designed and packed in-house and mailed to 225 special people.
