Introducing The SALT: Sage SALT Rod Product Launch: If you’ve ever tried saltwater flyfishing you know how challenging it can be. The ever-changing conditions and trying to outsmart so many different types of fish make it the double diamond of fishing. To make it ever so slightly easier, Sage developed the Salt, a fly rod created specifically for salt water fishing. The agency’s job was to play fishermen’s friend and get the word out. They created a full launch campaign with traditional print ads, digital ads, product videos, and a targeted email program. But the highlight of the campaign came in the form of a weeklong shoot in Mexico where we followed a group of expert fisherman as they put the SALT through its paces.
