Project Elevate…offering a 22nd Century view from the Space Needle: The Space Needle was the centerpiece of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair, which was themed the Age of Space and subtitled Century 21. As the thinking of the entrant crossed into the new millennium, its focus turned toward the 22nd Century. Ideas that have been gelling over the past few years have focused on creating a more engaging experience that connects guests to the sights and experiences of the Pacific Northwest in ways that, until now, could only be imagined. “Project Elevate” was the result.
